Prayer for the
Canonization of |
Brothers all. As you have
noticed from our last newsletter, we have a new format that
will cut our costs by two thirds. John Nastasi is working hard
to make everything we need printed, fit. Please try to keep anything
submitted to him short and to the point. November we had a membership
blitz and thank all for helping. Manny Alarcon gave a nice
profitable report from the 200 Club Dinner Dance. Thanks to Manny & Nancy
Bertran for they’re work. Congratulations to S/K Dave
Rollo and Lady Karen on Daves becoming a new
member of the 4th degree. Also a warm welcome to our
new member Ray Burhans PGK FDD. He is also an officer and
Charity Chairman for our Suffolk Chapter. We are truly blessed to have
someone like Ray join us. Two kids from our Soccer
Challenge have made it to the State Championship at West
Point. Wish them luck. I will attend. I hope all had a blessed
Thanksgiving and family gathering by the
time you read this. Let us also pray, that our
Almighty Father guide over our new President
elect Barack Obama. Our early bird C&B
drawing saw a $750 winners check go to our Church. We received a nice thank you
letter from Father Ed and it is displayed on our
council wall. Our next business mtg. is
Thurs. Dec. 4th. Please come early, eat, and
socialize. 8 P.M. sharp, the mtg. Will start. Teddy bears & NEW
stuffed animals will be collected that night, call Jim O’Conners. We will be selling Christmas
wreathes Dec. 6th, 7th & 13th , 14th after all Masses. Anyone who can help please
do. This is a fund raiser for our council. We will have our first in
house Christmas party at our hall on Sun. Dec 7th.
starting 1:00 P.M. This will be a fraternal
Knights only party and RSVP is a must. 654-8474 , space is limited, $10 for
50/50. I would like to wish all a
very happy, Blessed Christmas. Remember to “KEEP
CHRIST IN YOUR CHRISTMAS”, and God Bless you one and
